Spring has sprung!

Spring has sprung!

It's September and the weather is warming up, which makes it a great time of the year to be outdoors and enjoying all the activities that are organised around Hervey Bay and Maryborough.

September means Wetside Water Park will be re-open for the summer season and this will bring smiles to the faces of many parents! They will re-open on Wednesday 4th September. Don't forget to pop down at 7pm every Saturday night to watch the water show it's definitely worth it, the precision of the lights and music and water is quite impressive and is another family friendly activity the kids will love.

This month we see the annual Teddy Bears picnic being held on Sunday 8th of September from 10am-2pm this is always a great day out for the family with plenty of family friendly activities and fun. It's being held at the City Park, Opposite the discovery Sphere, Pialba.

September also brings back FoodnGroove Fridays which are held at City Park on the first Friday of each month from 4pm with live music and delicious local food vans and stalls, this is another great event we are looking forward to seeing return in the warmer months!

September ends with the start of the Queensland School Holidays on Monday 23rd September, so look out for plenty of fun child friendly activities scheduled around the shopping centres, parks, libraries and community centres.
