Open every month of the year the Aquatic Centre is a great place to spend the day. With a 50m lap pool and 25m heated pool with ramp access as well as a huge childrens recreational pool with waterslides and play equipment, there is something for everyone. They have covered BBQ areas and grassed areas so you can bring along your picnic rugs and chairs and have a very cheap day out.

Reefworld Aquarium & Waterfront Restaurant

Access via Dayman Park, Pulgul St Urangan

Located directly on the beach and at high tide with the water lapping at it’s walls the waterfront restaurant is a gorgeous place to sit and enjoy the view over breakfast, lunch or dinner or just a coffee. The other half of the building contains the Aquarium which houses numerous tanks and a huge pool at the rear of the building with turtles that can be hand fed and if you’re daring enough a swim with the sharks!

Hervey Bay Go Karts & Waterslide

For a fun day out for all family members, you must give the Go Karts a go, with over 650m of track! With a giant 120m waterslide on the grounds as well, you can cool off after all that hard work racing. Check out their website for more details.

Locally operated , small but quaint theatre with local performers -a  night out at Z-PAC can be very entertaining! Tickets range in price but are usually around $20.

With the best spot on the beach at Torquay you can start the day off with brekky and spend the day trying all sort of water sports!The spot to do this is Aquavue so check them out on your visit.

The Hervey Bay Historical Village and Museum is an enchanting place to visit for everyone.  Taken back in time you will see over 3000 displays from the early years in the Wide Bay area.
